Our approach

Growing at their own pace, surrounded by care

Nurture, support, grow: three words that guide every day at nursery, in close partnership with you.

Working with families

A trusted family partner

We place particular importance on close relationships with families, sharing in each child's upbringing.

  • Everyday conversationsAt drop-off and pick-up, we share the essentials: sleep, meals and little achievements.
  • A gentle settling-in periodWe plan the first days together with you, gradually, at your child's own pace.
  • Shared momentsRegular conversations to support your child together.

Our values

Three words, every day

Nurture

From the very beginning, every child is welcomed with warmth. Feeling safe gives them the confidence to explore, try new things and make mistakes.

Support

Every child receives the attention and support they need. Our team observes their interests and adapts activities to their age and personality.

Grow

Language, movement, creativity and life in a group: we build on each child's strengths and interests to create a solid foundation.

Learning through play

In Luxembourg, nurseries follow the national reference framework for non-formal education. Its six areas of action inspire our activities:

  • Emotions and social relationships
  • Values, participation and democracy
  • Language, communication and media
  • Creativity, art and aesthetics
  • Movement, body awareness and health
  • Natural sciences and technology

Children take an active role in their discoveries

In practice, children learn by playing, exploring and doing things for themselves. Our team observes, encourages and enriches their surroundings, without rushing them.

Our general educational concept describes how we put these principles into practice every day.

Multilingual education

Moien, bonjour… and the language of home

As part of the national multilingual education programme, children aged 1 to 4 are introduced to Luxembourgish and French through nursery rhymes, stories, games and everyday routines.

Home languages have an important place here: they are part of a child's identity and help them learn other languages. We work with you to celebrate them.

A day at nursery

A typical day, from 6:45 am to 6:45 pm

No two days are quite the same, but familiar moments give children a reassuring daily rhythm.

  1. From 6:45 am

    Morning arrivals

Each child arrives at their own time. We take a moment to say hello and hear about the night before.

  2. During the morning

    Play, activities and garden time

Music, movement games and obstacle courses, painting, stories and gardening: activities vary with the children's ages, the weather and their interests.

  3. Lunchtime

    Lunch

Fresh, healthy and varied meals, in partnership with local farms. Older children try a little of everything and become more independent at mealtimes.

  4. Early afternoon

    Nap time

Each child rests according to their needs in our peaceful sleeping rooms. Babies follow their own rhythm throughout the day.

  5. Mid-afternoon

    Snack time

A friendly moment together to recharge before more play.

  6. Until 6:45 pm

    Home time

We tell you about the day: what your child discovered, what they ate and how they slept.

Eating well

Fresh, healthy, varied… and local

Mealtimes are part of discovering the world: exploring flavours, colours and textures, and sharing time together.

We favour fresh ingredients and an environmentally conscious approach, in partnership with local farms.
